History

   A Body of Believers that’s had members that go back as Primitive Baptist with Boiling Springs in the Milton area since 1837 which was Milton County Ga, and now the City of Milton is in the most northern part of Fulton County Ga. Near Forsyth County Ga.. Later in 1956, Fifty plus members set out to build a building in the present location, they completed it in 1957 and constituted the Church and building as Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church then. 

   After the Constitution of Oak Grove they became part of the Double Branch Association, we believe got its name from the Old Historic Courthouse across the street called the Double Branch Courthouse. It was made up of Harmony Primitive Baptist Church, Cherokee County Ga, and Piney Grove Primitive Baptist Church, Forsyth County Ga. (Presently known as Forsyth Primitive Baptist Church). In the 1980s the Double Branch Association dissolved and each Church became independent of itself.

   We strive to be in fellowship with all sound sister Primitive Baptist Churches in the area and beyond the area too.
